The Presidential Committee of the Italy China Council Foundation-ICCF took office, which on 8 April appointed the Board of Directors for the three-year period 2025-2027 and confirmed the current President, Cav. Lav. Mario Boselli (in office from April 2020, from February 2024 also President of the Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce). An important step for ICCF - born in 2022 from the integration between the Italy-China Foundation and the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce -, the only platform in Italy that includes Italian and Chinese companies and institutional bodies among its members, with the aim of facilitating collaboration between the two countries and developing new business opportunities. Thanks to a network made up of hundreds of members and partners, a Study Centre and an Academy that deal with information, analysis and training, ICCF offers targeted assistance services to enterprises, with particular attention to internationalisation processes on the Italy-China-Asia axis.
The President's Committee, established by Article 12 of the ICCF Statutes, is composed of the President, the Vice Presidents of ICCF and the Director General as an invitee. Its members are prominent figures appointed by the Board of Directors, selected for prominent roles and special merits, with representative and advisory functions. In addition to their role as members, some of these figures may also participate as invitees. The current Committee has renewed its previous members, to which two new members recently joined the ICCF network have been added: Stefano Caselli, Dean SDA Bocconi School of Management, and Giada Zhang, CEO of Mulan Group. With them also Renzo Cavalieri, Vice President of the Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce-CCIC. Among the guests are Riccardo Monti, former ICE President, and Alcide Luini, CCIC Treasurer and ICCF General Affairs Manager. This body will meet bimonthly with the task of collaborating directly with the President in the management of the governance of ICCF, offering an advisory contribution and acting as a forum for discussion and definition of programmes and activities to be presented to the Board of Directors.
