25 February 2026, Italy China Council Foundation (ICCF) and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (ICCC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding which consolidates and expands the path of cooperation initiated in recent years.
Signing the agreement were Mario Boselli,President of the Italy China Council Foundation, and Lorenzo Riccardi, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, formalising the shared commitment to enhancing strategic collaboration between the two entities. The Memorandum represents a significant step in the strengthening of bilateral relationswhich will foster the development of new economic, institutional, cultural and academic opportunities between Italy, China and Europe.
Italy China Council Foundation and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China have long collaborated on initiatives of strategic importance for business support and Italy-China dialogue and, through this Memorandum of Understanding, recognise the value of a structured and continuous cooperation to enhance the impact of their respective activities.
Particular attention will be paid to collaboration within the EU SME Centre projectto the development of publishing and research activities - including the magazine Mondo Cinese of the ICCF, which can be further enriched by contributions from the ICCC - and thejoint organisation of training and institutional eventsas well as mutual support in the individual activities of the two entities.
"This agreement represents an important step for strengthen our relationship in favour of the Italian system", said the ICCF President, Mario Boselli. "The Italy China Council Foundation's mission is to support the business of Italian and Chinese companies, and to do so in collaboration with other national and international organisations. The Memorandum signed today goes in this direction: it will facilitate collaboration between the two networks, will generate new synergies and will help to further intensify the economic and cultural exchanges on the Italy-China axisopening up further development prospects for the business world in both countries."

Established in June 2022, the Italy China Council Foundation (ICCF) was born from the integration of the Italy China Foundation (established in 2003) and the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce (founded in 1970). The ICCF is a non-profit association comprising Italian and Chinese companies and individuals. With its approximately 300 members and partners, it is the most important organisation of its kind in Italy and among the main ones in Europe. Thanks to its network, the ICCF is dedicated to the development of relations between Europe and Asia, and primarily between Italy and China.
On the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (ICCC):
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) saw its first foundation in 1903, among the first Italian chambers of commerce abroad. Today, with over 800 members, it is the largest association of Italian entrepreneurs in the Assocamerestero network in the Asia-Pacific region. It is recognised in Italy by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy and in China by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. CCIC's mission is to promote economic, trade and industrial relations between the two countries with a particular focus on the value of the business community and Italian investment in China.
