Through targeted business support services, publications and insights, and dedicated training courses, the Italy China Foundation promotes bilateral exchanges between Italian and Chinese companies and the development of institutional relations between the two countries.

A detailed analysis of each company's needs allows us to offer tailor made solutions. We support Italian companies in identifying the best strategies for the promotion of their products and expertise on the Chinese territory and, at the same time, we support Chinese companies in the development and communication of their business in the Italian and European markets.

Joining the Foundation means becoming part of a network of over 400 Italian and Chinese members; accessing exclusive services, including analyses and reports on key sectors in bilateral Italy-China relations; interacting with professionals and experts in the Chinese market during networking events; participating in training courses tailored to business needs; joining thematic Working Groups and taking part in seminars on Europe-Asia trade exchanges.

Being part of our network

The Italy China Foundation network includes important Italian organisations, such as the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China and Unioncamere, and prestigious Chinese organisations, such as the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the most important institutional organisation for the promotion of foreign trade.

The Foundation's network is enriched by the federation of national business organisations of the European Union, the EU-China Business Association (EUCBA) and the EU SME Centre, a community project to facilitate market access and business opportunities for EU small and medium-sized enterprises in the People's Republic of China. Together with the Chamber of Commerce for Southeast Asia, the Italy Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, the Indian Chamber of Commerce for Italy, and the Italy Myanmar Chamber of Commerce, the Foundation is a founding member of Club Asia, an association that promotes common interests and acts as a catalyst for opportunities for collaboration, information exchange, and the promotion of networking initiatives and economic growth in the Asian region.

Thanks to decades of knowledge of the Chinese market, the Foundation's experts offer commercial assistance services to support companies at all stages of their business development.

Through its extensive network of collaborators, the Italy China Foundation develops market analyses and strategies for market entry or expansion; identifies partners and commercial locations in China and Italy; provides legal/tax assistance and support for company formation; offers consecutive and simultaneous translation and interpretation services, both in Italy and China; provides information on the latest import-export procedures to and from China; and assists in the recruitment of executives, managers, and specialised personnel. The Foundation identifies solutions tailored to the needs of each individual company.

Centre for Studies of the Italy China Foundation

The Study Centre produces medium-term political-economic analyses of China, in-depth studies of the Chinese market enhanced by the sectoral expertise of all members of the Foundation's network, and surveys to measure the perception of Italian and Chinese companies operating in their respective markets.

The focus is on Italy-China bilateral relations, set in the broader context of international dynamics. Over the course of time, the Research Department has broadened the spectrum of its analyses to include the countries of the ASEAN area and has enriched its activities through collaboration with the Club Asia, an association that aims to strengthen relations between Asian entities operating in Italy, including mixed and foreign organizations, associations and chambers of commerce, and Italian and international business or institutional counterparts.
