For over twenty years China Awards they celebrate the companies, figures and institutions that build the dialogue between Italy and China every day.
La 21st edition, scheduled for 1 December 2026 presso il National Museum of Science and Technology "Leonardo da Vinci", will present itself with a completely revamped formatdesigned to showcase with even greater force the innovations, visions and relationships that unite the two countries.
The new 2026 format

Two thematic panels: Horizon and Nexus
Each round table will host Keynote Speaker of international importance and will be followed by the prize-giving ceremony to companies, organisations and institutions that have particularly distinguished themselves during 2026 in the following fields:
Horizon | Innovation, technology, business models
The organisations that are redesigning the future of Italy–China relations through research, development, digitalisation and new technologies.
Nexus | Healthcare, pharmaceuticals, R&D, market access
Italian and Chinese excellence in the life sciences sector, from active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to medical devices and clinical research.
- 19:30 — 23:00 · Sala delle Colonne
Networking Cocktail & Gala Dinner
A time dedicated to the gathering of guests, partners and institutions, with the conferring of the Golden Lion award and some special awards to the areas of excellence on the Italy-China axis. The evening is accompanied by a charitable gesture, with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to supporting the activities of OVCI - Our Family.
Golden Lion
Figures who have distinguished themselves for having served as ambassadors of Italian excellence in China, strengthening dialogue and friendship between the two countries.
Filippo Nicosia Special Golden Lion Award
Figures from the worlds of culture, sport and entertainment who have distinguished themselves in relations between Italy and China.
Hong Kong SAR Special Award
Artists, institutions, companies and professionals who have helped build a bridge between Italy and the HKSAR.
