In an increasingly complicated geopolitical and international context and a macroeconomic dimension full of unknowns, the constant exchange among experts in specific sectors is not only an opportunity to stay constantly up-to-date, but also a chance to make the most of present and future opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Through regular meetings and the organization of specific activities, the <strong>Working Groups of the Italy China Council Foundation<\/strong> enable network members to proactively share ideas, projects, problems and best practices in order to improve their positioning and expand their business. At the same time, the groups draw up policy documents and in-depth studies useful for understanding the state of the art of sector dynamics on the Italy-China axis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alcuni output dei Gruppi nel 2024 e nel 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In June 2025, two interesting updates prepared by the Working Groups were sent to Members <strong>Environment and Energy and Intellectual Property<\/strong>. The first in-depth study, entitled \"<em>Artificial intelligence in China: national strategy, industrial property, regulation and global challenges<\/em>\"was curated by coordinator Dr Gianluca Statti of <strong>PRAXI Intellectual Property<\/strong>while the second is a\u00a0<em>'Focus on the path of European and Chinese companies towards sustainability: reporting and value chain' <\/em>drafted by the coordinator Avv. Paola Bernardi of <strong>Bernardi Law Firm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>6 June 2025 was the kick-off day of the Working Group <strong>WE - Women and Enterprise<\/strong>coordinated by Alessia Pastori (EY) and Sara Moro (LCA).<br \/>\nThe project was created to enhance the contribution of women in the economic and entrepreneurial context between Italy and China, with a pragmatic approach oriented to the development of skills, networks and opportunities. The Group's objective is to create a space for concrete comparison between female professionals and entrepreneurs interested in operating or strengthening their presence in the Sino-Italian market. An opportunity to share experiences, increase skills and build synergies between two complex but complementary economic cultures.<br \/>\nThe interest was immediate: numerous sign-ups from Italian, Chinese and international women who grasped the value of this initiative as a lever for their career path.<\/p>\n<p>Chinese tourism in Italy, its prospects and the now indispensable digital channels for this market were the focus of the meeting organised by the Working Group <strong>Tourism<\/strong>. During the event, entitled \"<em>Chinese tourism in Italy: the travel experience in the digital age<\/em>\", our Research Centre presented the numbers and favourite destinations of Chinese visitors, while Intarget member focused on the most used digital tools to improve the travel experience of those who choose our country. The testimony of Milano&amp;Partners showed how to organise a strategic campaign for one of the favourite destinations of Chinese tourists while China Mobile presented its services and the opportunities offered by the mobile operator not only for travellers but in everyday life.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Logistics<\/strong> ha organizzato un webinar dal titolo \u201cAggiornamento sulle principali novit\u00e0 della recente riforma doganale\u201d, nel corso del quale i massimi esperti del settore hanno illustrato i cambiamenti principali introdotti dalla riforma. Tra le novit\u00e0 pi\u00f9 rilevanti figurano l\u2019inclusione dell\u2019IVA, l\u2019importazione tra i diritti di confine, le modifiche alla disciplina in materia di rappresentanza diretta e indiretta, nonch\u00e9 la revisione dell\u2019impianto sanzionatorio. Il seminario \u00e8 stato realizzato con il prezioso contributo dello Studio Legale ADVANT Nctm.<\/p>\n<p>Praxi Intellectual Property, Member of ICCF and co-ordinator of the <strong>Intellectual Property Working Group, <\/strong>produced a detailed analysis of the legal and jurisprudential context concerning the use of registered trademarks in China. In China, the actual use, or mere 'intention to use', of a trade mark is not a precondition for applying for its registration indeed. For a correct understanding of the relevant Chinese legislation and to better protect the identity and defensibility of the distinctive sign and reputation of the owner.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/acrobat.adobe.com\/id\/urn:aaid:sc:EU:bb47fe84-3fdc-41bd-b1a5-5ba98054c6c7\"><strong><em>Read HERE<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the <strong>Energy and Environment<\/strong>Working Group's activities, a publication on the new Carbon Boundary Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) legislation was released. The paper also analyses the Chinese standing on the measure, which is in fact an essential element of the European Green Deal. <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3TqeeuO\"><em><strong>Read HERE<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Logistics<\/strong> Working Group organized a webinar entitled 'The Suez Canal Crisis: Scenarios on the China-Europe Trade Route' to analyze, with leading experts in the field, the state of the art of the crisis and promote a closer dialogue between companies and logistics operators. The seminar was organized with the support of the Italian Association of Foreign Trade (AICE), the Italy-Hong Kong Association, The International Propeller Club - Port of Milan, and with the participation of Club Asia. <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3TOKgBX\"><em><strong>Read HERE<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Working Groups are an initiative aimed at fostering interaction and collaboration between ICCF member companies.
