ICCF is looking for a manager to join its Research Centre. The selected figure will play a central role in coordinating analysis activities and drafting reports on economic, political and sectoral developments, with a main focus on China and the Asian region, including aspects related to bilateral relations with Italy and Europe.
Main responsibilities:
– Drafting of reports and in-depth analyses: Elaborate the annual report in its two parts and produce economic-political focuses on relevant issues, offering a detailed view of the main developments in China.
– Managing relations with membersInteracting with the ICCF membership base to gather needs and transform them into research projects and scientific production.
– Training activities and editorial participation: Participating in training programmes in universities and management courses in coordination with the ICCF Academy, as well as contributing to the editorial board of the scientific journal 'Chinese World'.
– Junior team co-ordinationLeading and supervising a team of junior researchers to support the activities of the Research Centre.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of work experience, with preference given to those who have spent periods of work and/or study in China.
- Degree in sinology, international relations, economics or related disciplines.
- Native Italian speaker with excellent command of English. Good understanding of the Chinese language is considered a plus.
- Background in academia, business and/or think tanks, with particular value being attached to experience in business or direct contact with business realities.

- Excellent research, critical analysis and writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders.
- Aptitude for coordination and team management, with the ability to motivate and lead junior staff.
