Also this year, the School of Continuing Education of the Italy China Foundation China organizes the Chongqing Summer School in its Chongqing branch, a two-week or one-month Chinese language study period for bringing Italian students closer to contemporary Chinese reality. Classes usually take place in the morning, and in the afternoon, to make the experience as complete as possible, students are involved in a whole range of activities such as calligraphy, papercut, tasting of Chinese foods such as hotpot or even karaoke Chinese style. Another interesting activity is the language exchange organized between Italian and Chinese students. During the week, visits are also organized within the city in the most scenic or famous places, while excursions outside of Chongqing are scheduled on weekends. At the same time, the School hosts Italian courses for Chinese students from the Marco Polo & Turandot project interested in taking a course at the Italian Universities, to continue the study period of the Italian language In Italy at the headquarters of the school in Milan.
